At 2:30 pm (Paris time) this Saturday, the Race Direction was informed by the MRCC of the activation of the EPIRB beacon of Benoit SINEAU on board the Class40 Ekinox-Rhétores.

The skipper's presence on board has been confirmed, but at this stage no communication has been established with him.

A cargo ship, Jules Bonnier's Class40 (Plastic Odyssey), and Robin Marais' IMOCA (Respire-Ma Chance à Moi) are en route to Ekinox-Rhétores. They are expected to arrive on site at 4 PM Guadeloupe time / 9 PM Paris time.
