During the night, Armel contacted his team after encountering damage to one of his two rudders. While sailing downwind at over 20 knots, approximately 650 nautical miles northeast of the Azores, in fairly manageable seas and a 20-25 knot wind, the boat suddenly broached. Armel is sailing with one rudder raised and at reduced speed to analyze the situation and try to find a solution to the problem.
