The Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe village will open its doors tomorrow, Thursday, October 22, from 10 a.m. to welcome the public who will be able to enjoy the planned program of activities.
Due to the weather conditions forecast for the second part of the night of Thursday to Friday October 23, OC Sport Pen Duick, organizer, in consultation with the relevant authorities, announces that the Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe village will not open its doors at 10 a.m., in order to guarantee the safety of all attendees.
The teams will remain attentive to the evolving situation throughout the day and will study the possibility of reopening the village as soon as conditions allow.
The festivities will therefore resume no later than Saturday morning, on the quays of Saint-Malo.
In the meantime, only teams and members of the organization will have access to the village during the closure, in order to ensure the safety of the boats and structures.
