"Talent is having the desire." - Jacques Brel
Christophe Bachmann
biography
A skipper with a passion for design, and an architect with a passion for offshore racing, Christophe finds a common energy in both: the energy of action, the long-term perspective, and the quest for balance. Born in eastern France, it was love and sailing that led him to settle in Dinard after his studies. He then had two dreams: to make a living from architecture, and to sail far across the ocean. The first, launched under spinnaker, saw the second achieve its ultimate goal by confirming his qualification for the 2026 Route du Rhum!
"Sailing is building in motion."
