With less than six months to go before the start of the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe 2026, all stakeholders in the event are united by a common ambition: to extend the reach of this edition far beyond Saint-Malo, an edition fueled by strong collective momentum and solid local roots. Alongside the 118 officially registered sailors, several partners are committed to supporting the national profile of this legendary transatlantic race and helping to bring the event to life both in its starting regions and for the general public. Maison Bologne, already a partner in 2022, is renewing its commitment as an Official Supplier. Selectour, the leading network of independent travel agencies in France, Plancoët®, and JCDecaux are joining the team of partners for the 2026 edition as Official Supplier, Technical Supplier, and Media Partner, respectively.

A collective of stakeholders committed to the 2026 edition

Following in the footsteps of previous editions, the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe continues to bring together companies from diverse backgrounds around a major popular event. Tourism, agri-food, or communication: all share the same attachment to the region, to openness to the sea, and to the human and unifying dimension of the race.

For OC Sport Pen Duick, these new commitments demonstrate the event's ability to sustainably bring together major economic players around a unique sporting, regional, and human project. "With just a few months to go before the start, the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe 2026 is shaping up to be an edition of exceptional sporting intensity, driven by an outstanding field of sailors and remarkable collective mobilization. We are particularly proud to see partners with strong local roots joining or renewing their commitment to this international event. This momentum illustrates the unique capacity of the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe to foster dialogue between two regions deeply linked by the sea, Brittany and Guadeloupe, while uniting local economic stakeholders around a popular event with national and international reach." Julie Coutts, General Manager OC Sport Pen Duick

A strong territorial connection between Brittany and Guadeloupe

For Plancoët®, whose source is located in the immediate vicinity of Saint-Malo, this partnership is a natural extension of its Breton roots. The brand will notably support the event with a special edition in the colors of the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe, with nearly 500,000 copies distributed at points of sale.

“The Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe is a legendary event that goes far beyond mere sport. Deeply rooted in the French maritime imagination, this race showcases Brittany, its coastline, its collective energy, and its openness to the open sea. For Plancoët®, a Breton brand committed to its territory, its inhabitants, and the major events that bring them together, this commitment is a natural fit. It reflects values we share with the race: rootedness, endurance, teamwork, and respect for the natural elements,” emphasizes Nicolas Cherdronnet, Deputy Managing Director of Plancoët®.

After a first participation in 2022, Maison Bologne renews its commitment as Official Supplier of the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe 2026. Faithful to the history that links the event to the Guadeloupe archipelago, the distillery will put its know-how in the spotlight and at the service of the event in the starting village through several activations, including a limited edition of its emblematic Yellow Jersey designed with the artist DOZ, as well as a special cuvée developed with Grain de Sail.

“Much more than a sporting event, this race represents a historical link between Brittany and Guadeloupe, two territories united by the sea and a shared history. This commitment is deeply meaningful for our distillery because it fully connects our identity to our territory, to the spirit of achievement, and to the prestige of Guadeloupean rum,” emphasizes Lydia Loimon-Soulanges, Managing Director of Maison Bologne

New partners, shared commitments

Selectour and JC Decaux are joining the team of partners of the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe this year, with the same goal: to support the reach of a popular event that goes far beyond the purely sporting aspect.

For Selectour, the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe perfectly embodies the concepts of travel, escape, and connection between territories, particularly with Guadeloupe, a key destination for its network. The leading network of independent travel agencies in France intends to leverage this 2026 edition to strengthen its national visibility, promote overseas destinations, and offer several activations aimed at the general public.

“Partnering with the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe is a natural fit with Selectour’s DNA. This iconic event connects mainland France to Guadeloupe, a key destination for our network, while embodying the values of escape, emotion, and discovery that are central to our business. Beyond the sporting achievement, this race tells a powerful human story, full of daring, pushing personal limits, and fostering connections between territories. This is also the experience we strive to offer our clients every day,” emphasizes Jean-Noël Lefeuvre , CEO of Selectour.

As a media partner for the 2026 edition, JC Decaux will support the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe by leveraging its national reach and strong local ties. A dedicated communications campaign will notably enhance the event's visibility locally while also providing it with broader exposure to the general public nationwide.

The Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe is a major event, deeply rooted in the life of the region and in the collective imagination. As a committed player in the urban environment, it was natural for JCDecaux to once again support "This great popular event. This race embodies an adventure that is at once human, technical and environmental, driven by values of passion, determination and team spirit to which we are particularly attached, " emphasizes Valentin Gourdon , Regional Director Brittany Pays de la Loire of JCDecaux.

An adventure supported by its partners, far beyond the broad

Presence at the starting village, operations in points of sale, national media campaigns, digital devices, customer experiences or special editions: all partners will deploy activations designed to extend the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe experience well beyond the Saint-Malo basin.

Through these renewed or newly formed commitments, the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe confirms its ability to unite stakeholders from diverse backgrounds around a collective adventure driven by shared values: local roots, openness to the sea, team spirit, pushing personal limits, and promoting the region. Far beyond sporting performance, the event continues to embody a major popular gathering where human adventure, economic appeal, and maritime identity intersect.
