Guirec SOUDÉE
Ultim skipper, on Liamm, Tréguier
Who dares wins!
Biography
A true Mowgli of the seas from an early age, Guirec grew up on a small island off the Côtes d'Armor. At 18 he was a fisherman in Australia; at 20 he set off alone to sail around the world via the poles. In 2016 he became the youngest sailor in the world to cross the Northwest Passage single-handed. He moved into offshore racing in 2022 in an IMOCA. Barely back from the Vendée Globe, he announced that same year that he would attempt the westabout round-the-world record in an Ultim. In March 2026 he became the fastest man to sail single-handed around the globe from east to west, aboard the Ultim MACSF.
