Tom LAPERCHE
biography
Tom Laperche has established himself as one of the most talented sailors of his generation. Winner of the French Elite Offshore Solo Racing Championship in 2021 and then the Solitaire du Figaro in 2022, he joined the MerConcept team in 2021 as co-skipper with François Gabart aboard the trimaran SVR-Lazartigue. In 2024, he took the helm of the trimaran and confirmed his potential at the highest level of the Ultim class, notably winning the Rolex Fastnet Race and the Transat Café L'Or in 2025. An engineer by training, he combines sporting excellence, technical expertise, and a taste for innovation.
