Biography

Trained as an architect, Matthieu always dreamed of offshore racing. This love of the open sea was nurtured from childhood, spent wandering the docks of Saint-Malo, an iconic port and his family's ancestral home for generations. Passionate about the sea and sailing from a young age, he naturally gravitated towards the open ocean.

After proving himself on the Class40 circuit, Matthieu Perraut joined the Ocean Fifty class in 2024. A significant challenge that he took on before teaming up with skipper Sébastien Rogues in 2025 to explore new horizons.
