INFORMATION
profile

"The pursuit of absolute performance has an ecological cost that the planet can no longer bear. We must demonstrate restraint and resilience in order to accelerate our transition to a circular economy."
Romain PILLIARD
biography
Father of three, born in Paris, he has lived in Brittany since 2000. He discovered regatta sailing during his studies at ESSEC and participated twice in the Solitaire du Figaro. An entrepreneur in sports marketing with his wife Aurélie, they created the Tour de Belle-Île. Committed to the circular economy and ocean protection through the USE IT AGAIN endowment fund, he renovated Ellen MacArthur's maxi trimaran in 2016, with which he has taken on numerous challenges (including an attempt to sail around the world in reverse) and dedicates himself to raising awareness and conducting scientific research on underwater noise pollution.
