Emmanuel Hamez is a telecommunications engineer specializing in managing mobile phone operators in Africa, the continent where he lives and works… while also dedicating himself to his passion for sailing and offshore racing. Those who follow the Route du Rhum know perfectly well that he has already participated twice in the most famous transatlantic race, in 2014 and 2018. It's worth noting that the African theme was already very prominent on his previous boat, which was named Teranga.
