Biography

My name is Milan Koláček, a Czech solo offshore sailor and skipper of Inland Roots Ocean Soul. After starting on Czech waters, I worked in Ireland and later at Cookson Boats in New Zealand, where I learned to build high-tech racing yachts. I later raced in the Mini 6.50, Figaro, Class40 and IMOCA classes. Route du Rhum 2026 will be my first participation in this legendary race and the first ever Czech entry in an offshore race of this scale. I am proud to represent the Czech Republic. 🌊🇨🇿
