Jules BONNIER

skipper Class40, on PLASTIC ODYSSEY, Saint-Malo

"What you cannot avoid, you must embrace."

Biography

My name is Jules Bonnier, I'm 30 years old, and I've been a Class40 sailor since 2016. As a boat preparer, crew member, and skipper, I've been involved in three boat builds and have competed in two Transat Jacques Vabre races, two Québec–Saint-Malo races, and the 2022 Route du Rhum with the Class40 #153 Nestenn - Entrepreneurs pour la Planète. In 2025, I sailed the Transat Café l'Or on a new-generation Class40 with Robin Follin. This year, I'm returning to the Route du Rhum with the Class40 #190. We're sailing for Plastic Odyssey and hope to mobilize the public to support their work alongside us. #SailingForOceans
