Pep Costa
biography
Born in Barcelona in 1999, Pep Costa studied in the United States and now lives in Lorient, France. A physics and mathematics engineer, he is also a professional sailor. He first made his mark in the 6.50 class, finishing 8th in the 2019 Mini Transat, before establishing himself in the Figaro and Class40 classes, notably winning the Rolex Fastnet Race and consistently placing at the top of the rankings. As skipper of the Class40 VSF Sports, he continues his progress on the circuit with ambition, methodical approach, and a desire to establish himself among the rising stars of offshore racing.
