Biography

Dr. Sasha Lanièce is an engineer and researcher who has channeled her scientific knowledge into her passion for sailing. Now at the helm of the first all-female offshore racing team, Les Déferlantes Sailing Team, she mentors young female skippers with a clear objective: to perform in order to inspire.

By placing data analysis at the heart of performance, Les Déferlantes proves that women have a rightful place in tech and innovation. Sasha juggles her life as an athlete, entrepreneur, data scientist, and communicator to champion women's empowerment!
