Matteo SERICANO
skipper Class40, on LUCENTE, Lorient
"I never lose. I either win or learn. — Nelson Mandela. For me, the Route du Rhum is exactly that: a unique life experience and a chance to keep growing, both as a sailor and as a person"
Biography
Matteo Sericano is an Italian offshore sailor and skipper, driven by competition, curiosity, and a deep respect for the sea. With a background ranging from dinghies to inshore and offshore racing, he combines speed, strategy, and resilience in every mile sailed. Off the boat, he brings a different edge: he holds a degree in philosophy, which perhaps explains why he likes to think as hard as he sails.
