Biography

Armel Tripon has competed in the Route du Rhum three times: in 2014 in an IMOCA, in 2018 which he won in a Multi50, and then in 2022 in an Ocean Fifty with the charity Les P’tits Doudous, of which he is a patron.

Les P’tits Doudous is an association of healthcare professionals who improve the hospital experience for children undergoing surgery through initiatives that make their journey more enjoyable and reduce premedication by 80%. A committed skipper, Armel is leading an innovative project with an IMOCA incorporating recycled carbon fiber and medical-grade titanium, sourced from the healthcare professionals at Les P’tits Doudous.
