Supporting the prevention of school dropout means giving children confidence and a command of the fundamentals. My wish: to raise awareness of the Coup de Pouce association so it can support more children. They deserve it!

Biography

Approachable, sincere and committed, Manuel Cousin embodies a human, fighting spirit in sailing. A two-time Vendée Globe finisher, he combines determination and simplicity. Turned towards the open sea and towards others, he leads a sporting and charitable project. On November 1, 2026, he will start his 3rd Route du Rhum, a race he loves for the intensity of sailing solo. A strong symbol for this sailor, who discovered sailing in an Optimist in Saint-Briac, near Saint-Malo. Driven by the desire to improve, he pushes his limits while sharing the emotion of the open sea.
