Biography

An outstanding sailor and technician, Sébastien Marsset has built rare experience on the most demanding boats in offshore racing. In 2025, he made his mark by completing his first Vendée Globe in 27th place. Starting with a controlled, rational budget and the oldest boat in the fleet, he demonstrated the viability of his "high-performance frugality" model. Through his "Cap Agir Ensemble" project, he is committed to responsible offshore racing and uses his visibility to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities, with ADAPEILA.
