biography

A composite materials engineer at Compositadour in Bayonne, I've been pursuing offshore racing projects alongside my sailing career since 2011, starting with my first Mini Transat on the 6.50 prototype I built myself.

I began sailing Optimists at the Basque Yacht Club 37 years ago, then moved on to 420s and Hobie Cat 16s. My experience includes the Tour de France à la Voile (Tour de France Sailing Race), ORMA trimarans, Mini Transat (2011-2015), Class 40s (Route du Rhum 2018 and 2022, Les Sables-Horta 2019 and 2021, Transat Jacques Vabre 2019, Défi Atlantique 2023, etc.), and IMOCAs (Transat Café l'Or 2025 on Coup de Pouce with Manu Cousin).
This year marks my 10th transatlantic race and 3rd Route du Rhum.
