Nicolas Rouger
biography
After many years of delivering boats on various types of sailboats, Nicolas Rouger joined the Mini 6.50 circuit from 2006 to 2009 and participated in the Mini Transat in 2009. A sailor from Marseille with an unconventional career path, he is currently leading the IMOCA project "Demain C'est Loin" (Tomorrow is Far Away), an adventure that combines offshore racing, sharing, mentorship, and resilience. In parallel, he is continuing the Seven Summits challenge.
After his first participation in the Route du Rhum in 2022, he will be back at the starting line in 2026 thanks to a wildcard entry.
His ultimate goal is the 2028 Vendée Globe.
